Hello hello, looks like it’s been awhile since my last post. I think Gabe might be the only one that still checks in on this page. Well, quite a bit has gone on in the last few months. I defended my thesis on sustainable coffee production and fair trade a week ago today. It went really well, the defense took about two hours and was slightly fun. My committee seemed pretty engaged with the topic, asked some good questions and withheld from grilling me too bad. In addition to finishing up my Master’s, Emily and I are in the process of buying a house in Boise, Idaho. I just went through the inspection yesterday. It is a cool little bungalow built in 1931 just north of downtown. The house is in really good shape with original hardwood floors but there are going to be quite a few proyectitos to work on around the place. I’m pretty stoked to be getting my Idaho fishing and hunting license back. I took a driver’s test this week and was able to get my Idaho driving license back so I could establish residency. Beyond hunting and fishing, Emily and I are really excited to be moving to Boise. It is a really fun place to be and there’s always something going on, plus the mountains are only a short drive/ ride away. I’ll hopefully put up some pics soon. Maybe not, who knows. Anyway, all is well, stop by sometime.--Joe
